Service Leader (m/f) - DACH-Region - Load Handling Equipment and Services

To realize the challenging company growth targets for the coming years - the definition and execution of a sustainable and integrated Service strategy with regional customers in DACH-region will be mission critical. Therefore, our client is looking for a regional Service Leader (m/f).

The regional Service Leader (m/f) is the pro-active driver of all Service, customer satisfaction and operations activities for all installed machinery products and solutions across the DACH-region. Furthermore - the Service Leader is responsible for customer recruitment for service products such as integrated service/maintenance contracts, trainings and technical support for the dealer/service network

The main focus areas for this Service Leader role are:

  • Pro-actively define and execute a highly professional regional Service strategy in the load handling equipment solutions market across DACH-region
  • Support profitable company growth, market coverage and added value selling – by ensuring a sustainable Pricing Policy and reliable/efficient service processes
  • Pro-active and professional customer support of DACH Sales-team – including on-site customer relationship management and effective complaint management
  • Ensure consistent and high-performing service & customer complaint management – to reach “total customer satisfaction” in DACH-region
  • Systematically implement a “new” level of service quality to generate service revenues and abet market growth activities
  • Pro-active development of the cross-functional and regional leadership team - towards the goal of reaching a “Best in class”- mentality and - organization
  • Team-up and communicate with regional and Group´s leadership and develop an effective commercial network – including Product Application, Marketing, R&D, Sales and all internal Group-interfaces.
  • Lead and develop a service team of ~15 service technicians/specialists across DACH – and a 3rd party Service-team of 40-50 people in the dealer/service-network.

The ideal candidate (m/f) earned a higher Bachelor/Master education – either in the in mechanical/industrial engineering field or commercial/business administration sectors or neighbouring disciplines. More important than the academic level is an appealing and proven service track-record of min. 8-10 years in customer Services experience in investment goods, preferably in the load-handling equipment, superstructures for trucks or utility vehicles, or the entire supply chain from OEM´s down to critical truck components. The ideal track-record should contain a minimum of 5 years in a successful Field Sales leadership role, with direct market/customer impact and an up-to-date process inventory of agile Service Sales products and added-value services. The candidate is used to operate on all business levels with personal authority, technical/commercial expertise and effective interpersonal skills. Written and oral communication in German and English is mandatory. Additional knowledge in French language is a plus, but not mandatory. Literacy in using Office software and professional CRM or data warehouse tools is mandatory.

The candidate should live already within Northern Germany, or is willing to relocate close to the German Headquarters.
